NVIDIA DLI Workshop with Universitas Imelda Medan

As part of a research partnership with Universitas Imelda Medan, the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) Ambassador Workshop is held at Universitas Imelda Medan on November 21, 2024. The workshop is instructed by Mahmud Isnan, M.Eng., and Ir. Kuncahyo Setyo Nugroho, certified NVIDIA instructors and AI research assistants at BDSRC | AIRDC.

Dr., dr., Imelda Liana Ritonga, S.Kp., M.Pd., MN, as the rector of Imelda University, opens the workshop. This workshop serves as an introduction for lecturers and students in preparing data and understanding the application of Artificial Intelligence in the healthcare sector. It also responds to the rector’s concerns regarding the previous data collection process that does not align with the deep learning flow. In her opening remarks, Dr., dr., Imelda Liana Ritonga, S.Kp., M.Pd., MN, conveys the importance of applying AI to health to facilitate disease detection and diagnosis.

The DLI workshop is attended by 50 participants, consisting of lecturers and students of Imelda University Medan. Dr., dr., Imelda Liana Ritonga, S.Kp., M.Pd., MN, hopes that this workshop can have a long-term impact, as evidenced by the output of journal paper publications or international conferences. During the workshop, participants receive the theory behind deep learning and engage in direct coding experiences guided by Mahmud Isnan, M.Eng., and Ir. Kuncahyo Setyo Nugroho.
